Song Review:
Tum He Se (3 Versions): Pritam has the proficiency of inundating new talents and "Tum Hi Se" maintains its decorum with full ease and gesture. Mohit Chauhan (vocalist of "Silk Route") gets his first major breakthrough in filmdom in this track that correlates to his flair of music and styling in terms of wordings and arrangements. The song is about communion of lovers that emotes in soft sonorous tonality with effective backdrop of mushy lyrical flow amidst enlightening orchestration. This may not be Mohit Chauhan's finest track as his Indi-Pop numbers like "Guncha" and "Dooba Dooba" have been more penetrative but it still works brilliantly for the desired situation. "Tum Hi Se (instrumental)" is enchanting instrumental work that has synchronized choral flows depicting the blooming of romance in landscaped hilly surroundings. It's an impressive background score that will enlighten the chemistry of love birds and possibly enhance the narrative flow of the film. It may sound disappointing but this mellifluous number is unnecessarily remixed in "club" style to boost album sales and this is too jarring and unimposing to make any impact. "Tum Hi Se (remix)" deserves to be rehashed in "lounge" version for its serene feel but it comes as unwanted guest in typical "club" version mode with bleak results.

Synopsis: Devasuram is one of the most successful Malayalam movies and was directed by I. V. Sasi starring Mohanlal. The movies has a cult following and the characters in the movies are fondly remembered by the Malayalees. The rivalry between Mangalasherry Neelakantan (Mohanlal) and Mundakkal Shekaran (Napolean) is the main theme of the movie
Neelakantan (an alternative name of lord Shiva) is the is the heir to the well known Mangalasherry family who squanders away his father's largesse and good name, but is loved by the people who knows him well. Neelakantan was the arch rival of Shekaran of the Mundakkal family right form the childhood days. During a minor ruckus, one of the aides of Neelakantan accidentally kills Shekaran' uncle (Janardanan). This incites Shekaran and he plans to avenge the death of his uncle. Meanwhile Neelakantan offends Bhanumathi (Revathi), a dance graduate, by forcing her to dance in front of him in his house. In retaliation Bhanumathi quits dancing and curses Neelakantan that she will dance again only after his death. Later he feels regretful and helps her family in many ways and tries to persuade Bhanumathi to take up dancing again, but she doesn't budge. Meantime, Neelakantan visits his widowed mother intending to bring her back home, but she passes away after revealing a terrible secret; that he was born out of wedlock. This fact crushes him, and only Bhanumati finds out this secret when he curses drunkenly that the ancestral heritage which he is proud of, is actually not his. She is surprised by the vulnerable side of Neelakantan.
The night on which he was returning home from Bhanumathi's home, Shekaran and his aides ambushes him and injures him seriously.
Neelakantan survives the attack, but his legs are badly injured and undergoes some ayurvedic treatment to rejevente his legs. It is during this time that Bhanumathi falls in love with him (she is also regretful for having cursed him, feeling a bit guilty that the attack was somehow related to her curse). Neelakantan convinces Bhanumathi to dance and he arranges for a dance event for her at Delhi. Neelakantan tries to forget all the past events and his rivalry with Shekaran, but Shekaran is not satisfied and wants to defeat Neelakantan in front of the whole village. For this he kidnaps Bhanumathi and forces Neelakantan to take blows in front of the public during a village festival organised by the Mundakkal family. Meanwhile Neelakantan's friends rescues Bhanumathi and after this Neelakantan mauls Shekaran badly and cuts off Shekaran's right hand, so that he will not again come up with revenge later.
Miscellanea: Based on the real life story of Mullassery Raju who is disabled and bed bound just like mohanlal's character in the movie. Writer Ranjith showed the video of the movie to raju and his reply was Neelakandan enthu decent aanu meaning Neelakantan is such a decent guy(when compared to him!). He Married And They Had Daughter Narayani on july 20 2007 amrita tv Ranjith wrote the script with actress Bhanupriya in mind to do the role of Bhanumathi (hence the name) but she had some problems and they chose Revathi instead
Synopsis: Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahin is a 1977 Indian Hindi movie. The 1977 was movie produced and directed by Nasir Hussain. It became a "super hit" and took the third top spot at the box office in 1977.[1]
The movie stars Rishi Kapoor, Zeenat Aman, Kaajal Kiran, Tariq (actor), Amjad Khan, Om Shivpuri, Jalal Agha and Tom Alter. The title song was picturized on Rishi and Zeenat and was a highlight. Another of the film's highlight was a song contest picturised on Rishi, Tariq and Kaajal which featured some back to back songs on the screen. Although Tariq earned a Filmfare nomination as Best Supporting Actor, he and Kaajal Kiran never had such a big hit ever again. This was Kaajal Kiran's film debut, and a critic commented that she was "no Asha Parekh."[2] (Parekh had debuted in Hussain's Dil Deke Dekho (1959) and became a huge star.)
The music of this film was given by Rahul Dev Burman for which he received a Filmfare Nomination for Best Music. The music dominated the year's charts. The movie's main claim to fame then is the resurgence of Mohammed Rafi as a top male playback singer. His unforgettable singing for "Kya Hua Tera Wada" won him the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer and the Filmfare Best Male Playback Award. In 1970, Kishore Kumar had taken the top spot from Rafi, and R.D. Burman used him nearly exclusively, for all of his films. But with "Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahin," Hussain insisted on equal distribution of songs between Kishore Kumar and Rafi, so each got four songs.
For Nasir Hussain also, this was the height of his success, he had at that time an unbroken string of huge hits strecthing back to the 1950's, but as a director he never had such a big hit ever again. It was only with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak directed by his son that his production house had a hit again.

Kya hua tera waada Woh kasam, woh iraada Bhoolega dil jis din tumhe Woh din zindagi ka aakhri din hoga Kya hua tera waada Woh kasam, woh iraada

Oh kehne waale mujhko farebi Kaun farebi hai yeh bata Woh jisne gham liya pyaar ki khaatir Ya jisne pyaar ko bech diya Nasha daulat ka aisa bhi kya Ke tujhe kuch bhi yaad nahin Kya hua tera waada Woh kasam, woh iraada Bhoolega dil jis din tumhe Woh din zindagi ka aakhri din hoga Kya hua tera waada Woh kasam woh irada
